The North Richland Hills ARC believes that
we should support the youth of this area. We will be giving a
$500 Scholarship
in 2010 to one of the graduating students of a Birdville School District High
School

now over $800!
$500 goes to the 2010 scholarship and the balance goes to the 2011 award.
The North Richland Hills Amateur Radio Club announces a Scholarship for the college academic
year 2010.
Eligibility:
High school seniors currently attending Birdville High School, Haltom High School, Richland High
School, or the Shannon Learning Center, in the Birdville I.S.D. who will graduate in 2010, and
will be attending college in fall 2010, are eligible.
Purpose: The
Scholarship is designed to benefit the North Richland Hills community, and to carry out the
missions of the Amateur Radio Service: to provide backup communications during emergencies; to
increase the number of trained operators; and to enhance international goodwill.
The Scholarship: One
Scholarship, in the amount of $500.00, may be used for any part of a student's post high school
education including books, tuition, room and board, etc.
Deadlines: The
application and transcript MUST be postmarked after December 1 and prior to March 1. There are no
exceptions.
Applications:
Applications are available from counselors at Birdville High School, Haltom High School, Richland
High School, and the Shannon Learning Center, in the Birdville I.S.D.
