Upcoming Class
Anyone completing
this class and passing their Technician Class test will receive a
free 1 year (2010) membership
in the NRH Amateur Radio Club - the membership starts immediately upon
passing the test. In addition they will be eligible for a drawing for a
new 2 meter/440 handheld transceiver!!
The drawing will take
place immediately after testing has been completed.
Our next Technician Class will
be held in October. The classes will be held on Wednesday evenings 10/21, 10/28,
11/4, 11/11(test). Classes are held at the North Richland Hills Fire
Administration Building,

The cost is $3.00 for the class and
$15*
cash for the exam, per student. The book used is Gordon West's Technician
Study Manual 2006 - 2010. The books cost about $20.00, and are available at
Fry's, or on-line at W5YI.
We will also be selling copies.
For Technician classes, the first three Saturdays will be classes,
teaching the more technical areas and reviewing the questions and answers in the book. The final day will be
review at the beginning, with the exam at the end. The
$15*
cash exam fee is due
at the time of the test.
